what was once the dominating race on earth is now reduced to the population of hundreds. and yet, humans remain to be persistent, being one of the only few races the exists in this world. however, they are no longer on top with the food chain, with far more powerful enemies already in sight.
- most humans have preferred to keep their previous lifestyle, and so most of them have united and built together cities in attempts to form civilizations once more.
- as such, only humans are the ones who decided not to include human or demonic flesh in their diets. they feed on whatever edible plant or fungi is present, although some of them can lead into side effects.
- humans are not capable of using magic.

contrary to popular belief, the term 'demon' does not only refer only to the enemies of God. no, 'demon' refers to almost any supernatural being, whether you are a spirit, a monster or even a deity - all of them are demons. demons have been wandering the earth for hundreds of years, invisible to most humans, only recently that they have been seen by every mortal on earth. five years after all the panic and suspicion, the demons have now been living with humans in better terms... or is it?
- demons vary a lot in appearances. they may look human, or look like a complete other being. they may also look human with rather peculiar features.
- most demons eat human flesh, a reason why the entire five-year chaos happened in the first place. very rare is to find a demon with another diet, and it is far more rare to find a demon that feeds off other demons.
- all demons are capable of magical abilities. however, not all possess superhuman speed or strength.

THE DUALS

duals only appeared rather recently in history. like hybrids, their origins are unknown. they differ as they are known to have two 'selves' - one human, one demon. it is said that all duals were once humans, victims of some cruse or experiment. duals are the rarest inhabitants as they are few and doomed to outlive one another.
- duals have two forms - their original, human form, and their second demonic form. their magical abilities are only usable in their demonic form. most duals can control their transformations, but some things - such as a sudden change of behavior or an increasing sense of hunger - can trigger someone to change without warning.
- it is also possible to notice a slight change in behavior between these two forms - in their demonic form, duals are more aggressive and perhaps even animalistic. being less prudent in their actions, duals' priority in this form is usually to feed, and so they may attack people indiscrimminately.
- the best way to spot a dual is to find their 'symbol' - all duals have a unique mark placed somewhere in their bodies. these marks glow when a transformation is about to take place.
- all duals are mostly cannibals, although some prefer to take some medicine that was being produced at an abandoned factory but nothing satiates their hunger like human of demon flesh.

THE ANGELS

the angels were beings that used roam between the dimensions of knowledge in search of a theological and salvation. they are messengers of God and were worshipped by humans. they have been seen by some humans a cpuple of times since dawn of time but only recently that they have revealed themselves to mankind. five years after all the panic and suspicion, the angels have now been living disguised as humans to avoid conflicts with disbelievers and search for God.
- angels were forced to disguise themselves as humans in order to conduct their search for the Almight without causing conflicts. unlike duals their magical abilities are both usable in their angelic form and human form.
- just like duals, the best way to spot an angel is to find their 'symbol' - all angels have a unique mark placed somewhere in their bodies. these marks glow when a transformation is about to take place.
- angels are resourceful and knowledgeable creatures, they're also masters of restoration and buffing abilities.

THE SUMMONERS

those who have formed contracts to demons are called summoners, entities able to link to demons, and so are able to use them for their own needs. they are called as a race as genetic change is seen right after forming a contract, brinding his soul to that other demon for eternity. this contract enables the summoner to call upon the contracted demon at any moment, as well as to share a telepathic link to each other. a contract only disappears at the death of the demon or the summoner.
- only demons and humans can be summoners, and summoners can only form contract to demons. great pain is experienced during the creation of a contract, more so for humans than demons, as summoners are known to also posses some demonic abilities, obtained from the contracted demon. as such, the difference between the genetics of a human and a summoner is greater than the genetics of a demon and a summoner.
- commonly demons are summoned with the use of a specialized COMP, thanks to the recent creation of the demon summoning programm. however, it is still possible to call upon a demon through ritual or strong-will, although these methods are known to be either time-consuming or exhausting.
- compared to entities other than humans, summoners have the weakest magical potential. this can be increased, however, by feeding demonic flesh.

THE HYBRIDS

hybrids are classified to those who are considered as 'half-human'. their origins are varied - there are, of course, the few born from human and demon parents. there are also those who have received other characteristics due to the environment, such as mutation due to nuclear warfare. and there are those even rarer situations, where some only find themselves being one after strange incidents. these are the hybrids - beings that contain genetic information of more than one race.
- it is almost impossible to differentiate a hybrid from a demon, as hybrid are usually human-like creatures although with non-human characteristics. however, hybrids must still look human in a sense - any animalistic form one would see in this place is definitely either a demon or a dual.
- hybrids have less magical abilities than demons, but are still stronger than humans or summoners.
- hybrids are the only species who have real free will on their diet. feeding on flesh or plant shows no real difference to their health.
